    Special Issue on Political Socialization


    Political socialization is the process of cultivating politicians and the transmission of political culture and political value. It is conditioned by shifts in the political, social, and economic contexts at the community, nation state, and international levels. Political socialization not only gives us insight into the pattern of political culture and subcultures in society, but also locates for us in the socialization processes of the politics. Political socialization is related to the transmission of political culture and psychology, and it has an important influence on maintaining or transforming the political system.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring political socialization. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Social political views
    • Political psychology and political consciousness
    • Politics education and political socialization
    • Mass media and political socialization
    • Function of political socialization
    • Approach of political socialization
    • Developmental process of political socialization

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Political Socialization” should be chosen during your submission.
