    Special Issue on Human Migration and Development


    Human migration and development are greatly interdependent processes. Development can be described as the search for a better life. This is also the main goal of migrants move within their owns country and other countries to earn higher income, find a more secure and fulfilling job, provide better education opportunities for their children and protect their families from exposure to war and persecutions. The geographical distribution of human beings is constantly changing due to social, economic, political, geographical and demographic factors. The study of human migration is an important part of the study of historical anthropology in the economic, urban and cultural aspects of a region or a country.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring human migration and development. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Migration, urbanization and development
    • Migration politics and development
    • Migration and economic globalization
    • Migration and environment
    • Labor migration
    • Law of population distribution
    • Immigration policy and the refugee crisis
    • International migration, civilization conflict and integration

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Human Migration and Development” should be chosen during your submission.
