Special Issue on Philosophy of Mind

Philosophy of mind is a branch of philosophy that studies the essence of mind, psychological events, psychological functions, psychological characteristics, consciousness and their relationship with the body (especially the brain). The debate between idealists and materialists is still endless. The development of neuroscience has helped us to understand some of the problems. Modern philosophers of mind continue to seek answers for subjective qualities and intentions in the mental states and characteristics in a naturalistic way.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring philosophy of mind. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Mind-body dualism
    • Free will and self
    • Cognitive science
    • Naturalism and behaviorism
    • Philosophy of perception
    • Physicalism and mind
    • Philosophy of neuroscience
    • Language of thought

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Philosophy of Mind” should be chosen during your submission.
