Special Issue on Approximation Theory and Applications
In mathematics, approximation theory is concerned with how functions can
best be approximated with simpler functions, and with quantitatively
characterizing the errors introduced thereby. Note that what is meant by best
and simpler will depend on the application.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on approximation theory and applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Approximation of functions
-
Polynomial or rational approximations
-
Fourier and harmonic analysis
-
Numerical approximation
-
Approximation algorithm for computer science
-
Classical approximation
-
Interpolation of operators
-
Approximation for integral equations
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field
“Special Issue – Approximation Theory
and Applications” should be chosen during your submission.
