    Special Issue on Food Processing


    Food processing is the transformation of raw ingredients, by physical or chemical means into food, or of food into other forms. Food processing combines raw food ingredients to produce marketable food products that can be easily prepared and served by the consumer. Modern food has developed in the direction of nutrition, green, convenient and functional food, and functional food will become the mainstream food in the new century.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring food processing. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Innovations in food science
    • Food processing and packaging technology
    • Food safety, preservation, quality management
    • Snack and beverage production
    • Condiment processing
    • Agricultural products processing
    • Food nutrition and public health
    • Food import and export
    • Food policy
    • Application of food technology

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Food Processing” should be chosen during your submission.
