Special Issue on Theory and Applications of Optimization and Operations Research

Optimization is concerned with the analysis and algorithmic aspects of maximizing or minimizing an objective function subject to constraints, often in complex problems in high dimension. Operations research is a problem solving and decision taking technique. It is considered a kit of scientific and programmable rules which provides the management a “quantitative basis” for decisions concerning the operation under its control.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Theory and Applications of Optimization and Operations Research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Decision support
    • Stochastic optimization
    • Combinatorial optimization
    • Complexity modeling
    • Linear programming method
    • Integer programming
    • Mathematical modellings of engineering problem
    • Applications in transportation, aerospace, agriculture, logistics and business management
    • Optimization model in Industrial Engineering

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Theory and Applications of Optimization and Operations Research” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:
