    Special Issue on Social Stratification and Problems


    Social Stratification refers to the differential ranking of individuals in the social system. Individuals within the system get relatively superior or inferior treatment. Social classification is based on the occupation, income, wealth, social status, gender, age, possession, power and kinship. It exists in all societies. Recent studies on social stratification mainly focus on power, privilege, poverty and social inequalities.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring social stratification and problems. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Social mobility
    • Distributive systems and classes
    • Theories of social stratification
    • Socioeconomic strata
    • Social classification and principles
    • Industrial influences
    • Social class and political culture
    • Social status and power distribution
    • Social contradictions and conflicts

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Social Stratification and Problems” should be chosen during your submission.
