    Special Issue on Fluid-Structure Interaction

Intensifying competition, increasing government regulations and more aggressive cost targets are pushing product designs to the edge of what’s possible, eroding the boundaries between different physical domains. One result is that it often is no longer possible to ignore the interactions between fluids and the structures that surround them. That’s why fluid–structure interaction (FSI) is important.  The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of fluid-structure interaction.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore fluid-structure interaction. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Immersed boundary method
    • Moving boundary method
    • Non isothermal flow
    • Fluid-structure interaction calculation
    • The simulation analysis
    • Fluid-structure interaction model

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Fluid-Structure Interaction” should be selected during your submission.
