    Special Issue on Personality, Cognition and Behavior


    Personality is defined as the characteristic set of behaviors, cognition, and emotional patterns that evolve from biological and environmental factors. Most theories focus on motivation and psychological interactions with one's environment. The study of the psychology of personality, attempts to explain the tendencies that underlie differences in behavior. Many approaches have been taken on to study personality, including biological, cognitive, learning and trait based theories, as well as psycho-dynamic, and humanistic approaches.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Personality, Cognition and Behavior. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Borderline personality disorder
    • Personality traits and cognitive abilities
    • Personality and work behavior
    • Students personality and performance
    • Effects on emotional behaviors and regulation
    • Evaluation and psychological treatment
    • Family influence and therapy  
    • Personality, motivation and stress coping
    • Personality and mental health
    • Child development

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Personality, Cognition and Behavior should be chosen during your submission.
