    Special Issue on Traffic Safety


    Man is the main body of the traffic system. Vehicles are the link of the "people-vehicle-road" traffic system. The improvement of traffic safety and traffic environment can’t be separated from the vehicle as a carrier. Road is the basis of traffic system. The core research content of traffic safety focuses on drivers, motor vehicles and road safety. The main task of traffic safety planning is to formulate the goal of safety development, put forward macro measures for safety improvement, and carry out safety assessment of traffic planning. Traffic safety management needs to emphasize the comprehensive safety management under the condition of informationization.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring traffic safety. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Traffic safety and road management
    • Accident analysis and prevention
    • Traffic behavior analysis
    • Modelling of traffic safety
    • Vehicle safety standards
    • Transportation policy and planning
    • Transport facilities design and evaluation
    • Development of traffic safety management

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
