Special Issue on Environmental Pollution and Human Health

The basis of human health is the living environment of mankind. Environmental pollutants that affect human health mainly come from waste water, waste gas, waste residue, municipal waste and so on in the process of industrial production. The main pathway of environmental pollutants entering the human body is the respiratory tract and digestive tract, and also can enter through the skin and other ways. The effects of environmental pollutants on human body mainly include dose, reaction time, reaction conditions and individual sensitivity. Generally speaking, the critical concentration and critical time of different pollutants to the body are different, and only when the environmental pollutants accumulate in the body to reach the threshold of poisoning, will the harm happen.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring environmental pollution and human health. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Water quality and public health
• Modeling and measuring of water pollution
• Effects of air pollution on public health
• Global climate change and air pollution
• Chemical pollutants and its effects on health
• Health effects from noise
• Health effects from radiation
• Risk assessment of contaminated environments
• Land pollution and its effects on health

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Environmental Pollution and Human Health” should be chosen during your submission.
