    Special Issue on Unemployment and Employment


    In the post crisis era, unemployment is a global hot topic. As a normal social phenomenon in a market economy country. The existence of moderate unemployment rate can promote labor competition and improve work efficiency. However, once the unemployment rate is beyond control, it will bring serious negative effects to society, families and individuals. Because of the importance and particularity of unemployment, the government is duty bound to deal with unemployment. The focus of government governance on unemployment is to establish macro policy regulation system to promote employment, including economic control system and social regulation and control system, and give full play to the government's regulation responsibility. How to control unemployment rate in a moderate range has become a serious problem faced by governments and theorists all over the world.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring unemployment and employment. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Causes of unemployment
    • Effects of unemployment
    • Unemployment and underemployment
    • Employment promotion
    • Employment fluctuations and wage rigidity
    • Labor market and labor force
    • Distribution of labor force
    • Economic market and employment
    • Education and employment

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Unemployment and Employment” should be chosen during your submission.
