Special Issue on Vegetables and Agriculture

Vegetables are an important part of healthy eating and provide a source of many nutrients and fibre. The proportion of people with adequate vegetable consumption has decreased, despite the known benefits of vegetables. It is a branch of agriculture. Animal husbandry is the management and care of farm animals by humans for profit, in which genetic qualities and behavior, considered to be advantageous to humans, are further developed. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of vegetables and agriculture.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore vegetables and agriculture. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Vegetable farming
• Vegetables raised for seed production
• Production factors and techniques
• Disease and insect control
• The health benefits of vegetables 
• Storage and preservation of vegetables

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Vegetables and Agriculture” should be selected during your submission.
