    Special Issue on Criminal Psychology  


    Criminal psychology is the study of the wills, thoughts, intentions, and reactions of criminals and all that partakes in the criminal behavior. Legal medicine involves the study and application of scientific and medical knowledge to legal problems. Medicolegal cases involving death, rape, paternity, etc. require a medical practitioner to produce evidence and appear as an expert witness.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Criminal Psychology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Forensic psychology
    • Criminal’s thoughts, behavior and personality
    • Aggression, violence and mental illness
    • Juvenile justice and psychology
    • Childhood sexual abuse
    • Psychopathy and crime
    • Sexual assault, rape and treatment
    • Victim restoration
    • Delinquency prevention
    • Juvenile justice and psychology

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Criminal Psychology should be chosen during your submission.
