    Special Issue on Developmental Biology

Developmental biology is a science that studies the basic laws and mechanisms of the development of multicellular organisms by applying modern biological techniques. It is one of the important basic branches of life science. Developmental biology has broad prospects in applied research, such as in vitro artificial fertilization, embryo culture and cryopreservation in vitro, embryo transfer, tube baby, animal cloning, transgenic technology, embryonic stem cell technology, which is of great significance in reproductive problems, population problems, disease prevention and treatment, crop and animal husbandry varieties improvement and biological resources utilization.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring developmental biology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Animal developmental biology
    • Plant developmental biology
    • Developmental neurobiology
    • Molecular developmental biology
    • Biological evolution
    • Reproductive biology
    • Genetics and development

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Developmental Biology” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    August 20th, 2019
