Special Issue on Law Theory

Law theory is a rational reflection on the basic issues of law, such as the concept, principle, value, category and characteristics of law. It plays an important role in the development of a country's legal system. Correct legal theory can guide the legal system to develop in the right direction. The first question to be answered by legal theory is what law is. For legislators, grasping the characteristics of legal norms can eliminate non-normative content and expression as far as possible in the process of legislation, make the law clearer, more operational and improve the quality of legislation.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring law theory. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• The concept and characteristics of law
• Jurisprudence
• Legal rights
• Legal culture
• Legal systems
• Western legal philosophy
• Legal methodology
• Law, morality and practice

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
