Special Issue on Soil Environmental
Soil
is the link between the air, water, rocks, and organisms, and is responsible
for many different functions in the natural world that we call ecosystem
services. These soil functions include: air quality and composition,
temperature regulation, carbon and nutrient cycling, water cycling and quality,
natural "waste" (decomposition) treatment and recycling, and habitat
for most living things and their food. We could not survive without these soil
functions. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for
scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss
various new issues and developments in the area of soil environmental.
In this special
issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit
original research and review articles on exploring soil environmental. In this special issue,
potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Soil
contamination with metals and pesticide
-
Remediation
of contaminated soils
-
Soil
fertility, soil chemistry and soil mineralogy
-
Soil
microbiology and biochemistry
-
Carbon
and Nutrient cycling
-
Conservation
of soil environment
Authors should read
over the journal’s For Authors carefully before
submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their
complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that
the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is
supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Soil Environmental” should be
chosen during your submission.
