Special Issue on Planning and Management of Urban Water System
The research contents of urban water system involve the protection of water
resources and environment, the construction and operation of water sources,
water supply, water use, drainage, water treatment and reuse projects, the
management policies and relevant laws of national resources and industrial
development. With the development of social economy and the accelerated process
of urbanization, the contradiction between supply and demand of water is more
prominent. Cities will face multiple challenges, such as water shortage, water
environment deterioration, and how to improve the quality of water supply.
Therefore, it is necessary to seek a new and more effective solution to the
urban water crisis strategy.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on
exploring Planning and Management of
Urban Water System. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
