Special Issue on Infrared Spectroscopy
Infrared spectroscopy (IR spectroscopy) is the spectroscopy that deals with the infrared region
of the electromagnetic spectrum. Infrared spectroscopy is light with a longer
wavelength and lower frequency than visible light. It covers a range of
techniques, mostly based on absorption spectroscopy. As with all spectroscopic
techniques, it can be used to identify and study chemicals.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line
researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on Infrared Spectroscopy. Potential topics include, but are not limited
to:
-
Types of vibrational modes
-
Sample preparation
-
Quantitative analysis
-
Infrared detector
-
Infrared spectra analysis
-
Infrared spectrum characteristic peaks
-
Infrared absorption spectroscopy
-
Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy
-
Application of infrared spectroscopy
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective
authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through
the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue”
under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special
Issue – Infrared Spectroscopy” should be chosen during your submission.
