Special Issue on Energy Materials

As the world-wide demand for energy is expected to continue to increase at a rapid rate, it is critical that improved technologies for sustainably producing, converting and storing energy are developed. Materials are key roadblocks to improved performance in a number of important energy technologies including energy storage in batteries and supercapacitors and energy conversion through solar cells, fuel cells, and thermoelectric devices. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of energy materials.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore energy materials. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Photovoltaics, batteries, supercapacitors
  • Energy storage and hydrogen storage
  • Fuel cells, hydrogen technologies and thermoelectric
  • Photocatalysis and solar power technologies
  • Materials for energy harvesting
  • Materials for energy transport and storage
  • Materials for energy applications

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Energy Materials should be selected during your submission.
