Special Issue on Religion and Cultural Studies

Religion is a basic and unique feature of human culture. Religion is embodied in different cultures and levels, including society, experience, rituals, ethics, narratives, doctrines and material. Religious studies must be intercultural and interdisciplinary, including cultural studies, psychology, sociology, philosophy, anthropology, history, literature and so on. Therefore, religious research is an important part of the humanities, and it has a profound influence on people's ideas, habits and so on.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring religion and cultural studies. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Religious organizations (such as churches)
  • Religious activities (such as sacrifices and rituals)
  • Religious literature
  • Religious philosophy
  • Religious politics
  • Religious art (such as religious buildings, religious paintings and religious music)
  • Secularism and atheism
  • Religious belief
  • Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, Judaism and so on

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
