Special Issue on Culture and Psychology

Culture influences mental processes and behaviors in humans, and is relevant for anyone interacting with people from different cultures. "Cultural psychology is the study of the way cultural traditions and social practices regulate, express, and transform the human psyche, resulting less in psychic unity for humankind than in ethnic divergences in mind, self, and emotion."

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring culture and psychology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Cross-cultural research
  • Culture and development
  • Culture and social behavior
  • Culture, self, and identity
  • Culture and Personality
  • Culture and gender
  • Culture and cognition
  • Culture and emotion
  • Culture and psychological disorders

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Culture and Psychology” should be selected during your submission.
