    Special Issue on Planetary Science

The planetary science mainly studies the composition, structure, genetic mechanism and evolution history of planets, satellites and planetary systems (especially the solar system). The research means include satellite surround detection, lander and inspector location detection, manned space exploration, and so on. By exploring the formation and evolution law of solar system, the evolution process of planetary systems, the internal structure and atmosphere system of planets, we can solve the origin, changes and evolution of planets in an all directional and multi angle way. Planetary science is the extension of earth science. Related research can deepen the understanding of the origin and evolution of celestial bodies, expand the survival area of human beings, and realize the recognition of the earth.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring planetary science. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Giant planets and extrasolar planets
    • Small solar system bodies
    • Planetary atmosphere and space environment
    • Planetary geology
    • Planetary chemistry
    • Planetary remote sensing
    • Planetary geophysics

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Planetary Science” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    April 19th, 2018

    Publication Date
