    Special Issue on Exergy Analysis

In thermodynamics, the exergy of a system is the maximum useful work possible during a process that brings the system into equilibrium with a heat reservoir. When the surroundings are the reservoir, exergy is the potential of a system to cause a change as it achieves equilibrium with its environment. Exergy is the energy that is available to be used. Exergy analysis is a thermodynamic analysis technique for systems and processes that is based on the second law of thermodynamics.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring exergy analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Exergy and environment
    • Exergy balance
    • Exergy transfer and exergy loss
    • Exergy analysis and efficiency
    • Optimization of energy processes
    • Exergy analysis applications
    • Exergy and economics

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Exergy Analysis” should be selected during your submission.
