    Special Issue on Institutional Economics

Institutional economics focuses on understanding the role of the evolutionary process and the role of institutions in shaping economic behaviour. Institutional economics emphasizes a broader study of institutions and views markets as a result of the complex interaction of these various institutions . The earlier tradition continues today as a leading heterodox approach to economics.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on institutional economics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Evolutionary economics:
    • Law and economics
    • Institutionalism and political economy
    • Property rights
    • Financial reform and regulation
    • Institutional frameworks and corporate governance

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Institutional Economics” should be chosen during your submission.
