Special Issue on Infrared Spectroscopy Research

Infrared spectroscopy (IR spectroscopy) is an analytical method that utilizes the interaction of infrared radiation with matter to identify and investigate chemicals. Due to low consumed and sensitive with repeatability features, infrared spectroscopy widely used in monitoring , quality control, dynamic measurement and other fields such as measure the concentration of particular substances in food industry, identification of pigments in paintings and detect gas leak, and so on. Modern developments made fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, a measurement technique greatly improve the quality of the spectra, to be more commonly used in recent years.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring infrared spectroscopy research. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Basic theory of infrared spectroscopy
    • Infrared spectrum characteristic peaks
    • Infrared spectrometer
    • Sample pretreatment and preparation
    • The associated technology of infrared spectroscopy
    • Infrared spectroscopy analysis
    • Application of infrared spectroscopy

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Infrared Spectroscopy Research” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    April 19th, 2018

    Publication Date
