    Special Issue on Agricultural Economy and Development

     

    Agricultural economics is a branch of applied economics that takes the tools of both micro and macroeconomics and uses them to solve problems in a specific area. With food inflation soaring and agricultural disputes at the heart of the collapse of the latest round of world trade talks, the subject has seldom been so topical. Agricultural economics plays a role in the economics of development, for a continuous level of farm surplus is one of the wellsprings of technological and commercial growth. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in this area of agricultural economy and development.

     

    In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore agricultural economy and development. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Agricultural finance, policy, marketing and farm
    • Agribusiness management
    • Agricultural environment and natural resources
    • Land, output, and yields
    • Production economics and farm management
    • Food and consumer economics

     

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
