Special Issue on Posttraumatic Stress Disorder

Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a mental health condition that's triggered by a terrifying event — either experiencing it or witnessing it. Symptoms may include flashbacks, nightmares and severe anxiety, as well as uncontrollable thoughts about the event.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring posttraumatic stress disorder. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Signs and symptoms
• Causes and risk factors
• PTSD vs. a normal response to traumatic events
• Pathophysiology
• Diagnosis
• Children with PTSD
• Treatment and therapy for PTSD
• Self-help treatment for PTSD

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Posttraumatic Stress Disorder” should be selected during your submission.
