    Special Issue on Antimicrobial Agents


    An antimicrobial is an agent that kills microorganisms or stops their growth. Antimicrobial medicines can be grouped according to the microorganisms they act primarily against. The use of antimicrobial medicines to treat infection is known as antimicrobial chemotherapy. The microbial agent may be a chemical compounds and physical agents. These agents interfere with the growth and reproduction of causative organisms like bacteria, fungi, parasites, virus etc.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on antimicrobial agents. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Antibacterial therapy
    • Antimicrobial chemotherapy
    • Antimicrobial technologies
    • Antimicrobial resistance
    • Antiviral drugs and antiretroviral drugs
    • Organic acids in food products
    • Antimicrobial pesticides

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Antimicrobial Agents” should be chosen during your submission.
