    Special Issue on Newton’s Method and Its Applications

    Newton’s method, also called the Newton-Raphson method, is a method for finding successively better approximations to the roots of a real-valued function. It is an effective method for solving nonlinear algebraic equations in mathematics. The method can also be extended to complex functions and to systems of equations.

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring Newton’s method and its applications. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Power flow solution by Newton’s method
    • Newton’s method for nonsmooth equations
    • Newton’s method in Banach spaces
    • Newton’s method for nonlinear equations
    • Modified Newton’s method
    • Variants of Newton’s method

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Newton’s Method and Its Applications” should be chosen during your submission.
