    Special Issue on Influenza A Virus

     

    Influenza A Virus causes influenza in birds and some mammals, and is the only species of influenza virus A genus of the Orthomyxoviridae family of viruses. Strains of all subtypes of influenza A virus have been isolated from wild birds, although disease is uncommon. Some isolates of influenza A virus cause severe disease both in domestic poultry and, rarely, in humans.

     

    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring influenza A virus. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

     

    • Variants and subtypes
    • Influenza A H5
    • Influenza A H7
    • Influenza A H9
    • H5N1 genetic structure
    • Vaccine
    • Human influenza virus
    • Virus evolution
    • Avian influenza

     

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.
