Special Issue on Antiretroviral Drug and Treatment

Antiretroviral is an agent or process effective against a retrovirus. For example, a drug to treat HIV. Antiretroviral drugs work directly on HIV and slow down its multiplication. This in turn slows down the loss of CD4 T-cells that the virus destroys, and thus slows down further damage to the immune system or even allows the immune system to recover to some extent.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring antiretroviral drug and treatment. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs)
    • Non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs)
    • Protease inhibitors (PIs)
    • Integrase inhibitors (INSTIs)
    • Fusion inhibitors (FIs)
    • Chemokine receptor antagonists (CCR5 antagonists)
    • DHHS treatment

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Antiretroviral Drug and Treatment” should be selected during your submission.
