Special Issue on Progress of Research on Ionic Liquids

Ionic liquids have high thermal stability, negligible vapor pressure, wide liquid temperature range, and controllable solubility of polar and nonpolar substances. The combination of functionalized anions and cations is endless, which indicates the great potential for the development of functionalized ionic liquids. Nowadays, more and more ionic liquids have been commercialized, and new ionic liquids have been born, and they have been applied in catalysis science, material science and separation technology.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring progress of research on ionic liquids. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Preparation and properties of ionic liquids
    • Functionalized ionic liquids
    • Ionic liquid catalytic system
    • Green solvent
    • Potential hazards of ionic liquids
    • Applications of ionic liquids

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Progress of Research on Ionic Liquids” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    January 17th, 2018

    Publication Date

    March 2018
