Special Issue on Advances in Molecular Ecology

Molecular ecology is an interdisciplinary discipline that studies and explains relevant ecological and environmental problems at large molecular levels, such as proteins and nucleic acids. It explores the evolutionary and biological mechanisms of biodiversity evolution, biogeographic evolution, species differentiation, and ecological adaptation. Compared with other ecology, molecular ecology uses modern molecular biology techniques to study ecology from a microscopic point of view. Therefore, molecular ecology can explain in essence the biological changes of nature in ecology.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring advances in molecular ecology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Ecological adaptability study
    • Research random amplified polymorphic DNA
    • Recombinant organisms
    • Behavioral ecology
    • Conservation biology
    • Ecological genomics
    • Molecular markers of ecology
    • Systematic geography

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Advances in Molecular Ecology” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    December 20th, 2017

    Publication Date
