Special Issue on Motivation and Psychology

Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-directed behaviors, which involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate behavior. It is what prompts the person to act in a certain way, like getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Motivation and Psychology. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Work motivation
    • Achievement motivation
    • Impulsiveness
    • Drive theory
    • Arousal theory
    • Self-determination theory
    • Stress & motivated behavior
    • Intrinsic motivation
    • Extrinsic motivation

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Motivation and Psychology” should be selected during your submission.
