Special Issue on Vibration Analysis

Vibration Analysis (VA), applied in an industrial or maintenance environment aims to reduce maintenance costs and equipment downtime by detecting equipment faults. VA is a key component of a Condition Monitoring program, and is often referred to as Predictive Maintenance. Most commonly VA is used to detect faults in rotating equipment, such as Unbalance, Misalignment, rolling element bearing faults and resonance conditions.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on vibration analysis. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Free vibration with damping
• Vibration analysis for electronic equipment
• Vibration and noise analysis
• Frequency response model
• Harmonic balance vibration analysis
• Fault diagnosis
• Vibration and control of structures and machinery,
• Structural control and acoustics
• Modal analysis

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
