Call For Papers

    Special Issue on Applied Linguistics


    Applied linguistics is an interdisciplinary field of linguistics that identifies, investigates, and offers solutions to language-related real-life problems. Some of the academic fields related to applied linguistics are education, psychology, communication research, anthropology, and sociology.


    In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on applied linguistics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Bilingualism and multilingualism
    • Conversation analysis
    • Contrastive linguistics
    • Language assessment
    • Literacies
    • Language pedagogy
    • Second language acquisition
    • Translation

    Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.


    Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Applied Linguistics” should be chosen during your submission.
