Special Issue on Alkali Metal and Alkaline Earth Metal

Alkali metals refer to six chemical elements in group IA of the periodic table: lithium (Li), sodium (Na), potassium (K), rubidium (Rb), caesium (Cs) and francium (Fr). Alkaline earth metals are the elements of group IA in the periodic table, including beryllium (Be), magnesium (Mg), calcium (Ca), strontium (Sr), barium (Ba) and radium (Ra). They are very reactive that can react with air or water. In nature, they usually exist in the form of ionic compounds, including halide, silicate, sulfate and carbonate. Due to their strong reducibility, they can be used to prepare rare metals or precious metals in non-aqueous solution or melting conditions.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring alkali metal and alkaline earth metal. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Alkali and alkaline earth metal ions
    • Alkali and alkaline earth metal salts
    • Alkali metal hydroxides
    • Alkali metal chlorides
    • Alkali metal halides
    • Alkaline earth metal oxides

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System  .

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Alkali Metal and Alkaline Earth Metal” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    January 16th, 2018

    Publication Date
