    Special Issue on Mathematical Logic

Mathematical logic is a subfield of mathematics exploring the applications of formal logic to mathematics. It bears close connections to metamathematics, the foundations of mathematics, and theoretical computer science. The unifying themes in mathematical logic include the study of the expressive power of formal systems and the deductive power of formal proof systems.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on mathematical logic. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Algebraic logic
    • Recursion theory
    • Model theory
    • Set theory and paradoxes
    • Formal logical systems
    • Proof theory and constructive mathematics
    • Connections with computer science

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly notice that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title is supposed to be specified and the research field “Special Issue – Mathematical Logic” should be chosen during your submission.

    According to the following timetable:

    Submission Deadline

    December 14th, 2017

    Publication Date

    February 2018
