Special Issue on
Plant Hormone, Growth and Reproductive Physiology
Plant growth and development involves the integration of many environmental and endogenous signals that, together with the intrinsic genetic program, determine plant form. Fundamental to this process are several growth regulators collectively called the plant hormones or phytohormones. This group includes auxin, cytokinin, the gibberellins (GAs), abscisic acid (ABA), ethylene, the brassinosteroids (BRs), and jasmonic acid (JA), each of which acts at low concentrations to regulate many aspects of plant growth and development. As one of the most important and timely research fields of life science, plant hormone, growth and reproductive physiology is of great attraction to researchers.
In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore plant hormone, growth and reproductive physiology. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Chemical structures of the plant hormones
-
Types of plant hormones
-
Chemical control of growth and reproduction
-
The application of plant hormones
-
The growth and development of plants
-
Plant breeding
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Plant Hormone, Growth and Reproductive Physiology” should be selected during your submission.
