Character and emotional intelligence development and education is about teaching of children in a manner that will help them develop variously as moral, civic, good, mannered, behaved, non-bullying, healthy, critical, successful, traditional, compliant or socially acceptable beings with the ability to perceive emotions, to access and generate emotions, to understand emotions and emotional knowledge to succeed in school and life. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in area of character and emotional intelligence development and education.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on character and emotional intelligence development and education. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Adolescent character strengths
• Assessments on characters and emotional intelligence
• Values education
• Cognitive development
• Character in adolescence
• Effects of character and emotional intelligence
• Frustration education
• Solidarity and cooperation training

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
