Special Issue on Supercritical Fluids and Processes

A supercritical fluid is any substance at a temperature and pressure above its critical point, where distinct liquid and gas phases do not exist. It can effuse through solids like a gas, and dissolve materials like a liquid. In addition, close to the critical point, small changes in pressure or temperature result in large changes in density, allowing many properties of a supercritical fluid to be "fine-tuned".

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring supercritical fluids and processes. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Supercritical fluid extraction
  • Supercritical fluid chromatography
  • Inorganic and metal-organic coordination chemistry in supercritical fluids
  • Supercritical fluids as solvents for chemical and materials processing
  • Supercritical carbon dioxide
  • Technology of supercritical fluid
  • Application of supercritical fluid
  • Development of supercritical fluid

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Supercritical Fluids and Processes” should be selected during your submission.
