Special Issue on Health Economics
Health economics is a branch of economics that is concerned with issues related to efficiency, effectiveness, value and behavior in the production and consumption of health and healthcare. It is used to promote health through the study of health care providers, hospitals and clinics, managed care and public health promotion activities. It can also be used to evaluate how certain social problems, such as market failure and inequitable allocation of resources, can impact on the health of a community or population.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Health Economics. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Health Economics” should be selected during your submission.
