Special Issue on Plant Abiotic Stress

Abiotic Stress cause changes in soil-plant-atmosphere continuum and is responsible for reduced yield in several major crops.  Therefore, the subject of abiotic stress response in plants - metabolism, productivity and sustainability - is gaining considerable significance in the contemporary world. Abiotic stress is an integral part of “climate change,” a complex phenomenon with a wide range of unpredictable impacts on the environment.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring plant abiotic stress. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • The impact of drought stress on plant physiology
  • Metabolism to productivity
  • Responses to salinity stress
  • Responses to limited water environments
  • Responses to high temperature
  • Response to herbicides
  • Genomic analysis

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Plant Abiotic Stress” should be selected during your submission.
