Special Issue on Essential Oil

An essential oil is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid containing volatile aroma compounds from plants. Essential oils are also known as volatile oils, ethereal oils, aetherolea, or simply as the oil of the plant from which they were extracted, such as oil of clove.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring essential oil. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Raw materials
• The classification of the essential oil
• Extraction method of the essential oil
• The characteristics of the essential oil
• Medicinal use of essential oils
• Use in aromatherapy
• Essential oils dilution

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Essential Oil” should be selected during your submission.
