Special Issue on Bacterial Infections

Bacteria are microscopic, single-cell organisms that live almost everywhere. The vast majority of bacteria are harmless to people and some strains are even beneficial. For example, some good bacteria in the human gastrointestinal tract aid in digestion and produce vitamins. When considering all the strains of bacteria that exist, relatively few are capable of making people sick.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring Bacterial Infections. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Tetanus
  • Antibiotics
  • Brucellosis
  • Cellulitis
  • Strep throat
  • Mycobacterial infection
  • Pneumococcal infection
  • Staphylococcal infection
  • Streptococcus infection
  • Urinary tract infection

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Bacterial Infections” should be selected during your submission.
