Special Issue on Sociology of Family
Family is more than a social organization, that contains both biological and affinal relationships between members. New kinds of intimate relationships such as cohabiting couples, single-parent families, divorce families and same sex unions are now commonplace. The wide range of personal relationships and living arrangements in today’s society is a sign that the concept of family is becoming more fluid and changeable.
In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles on exploring sociology of family. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
-
Family structures
-
Individualization, intimacy and family life
-
Parenting practices and values
-
Marriage and divorce
-
Sociology of childhood
-
Family diversity and personal life
-
Family and ageing society
-
Families, fertility and populations
Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.
Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue - Sociology of Family” should be selected during your submission.
