Special Issue on Fisheries & Aquaculture

 

A fishery may involve the capture of wild fish or raising fish through fish farming or aquaculture. According to the FAO, a fishery is typically defined in terms of the "people involved, species or type of fish, area of water or seabed, method of fishing, class of boats, purpose of the activities or a combination of the foregoing features".

 

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring fisheries & aquaculture. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Fisheries statistics & information
  • Fish growth rate, maturity, size and uniformity
  • Fish behavior, physiology, reproduction and genetics
  • Ecosystems
  • Fisheries and aquaculture resources
  • Fisheries and aquaculture technology
  • Utilization and trade
  • Environmental effects on fishery and aquaculture
  • Fisheries and aquaculture governance

 

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

 

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Fisheries & Aquaculture” should be selected during your submission.
