Special Issue on Climate Change and Agriculture

Increases of atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2), rising temperatures, and altered precipitation patterns will affect agricultural productivity. Livestock production systems are vulnerable to temperature stresses. Climate change will exacerbate current biotic stresses on agricultural plants and animals. The vulnerability of agriculture to climatic change is strongly dependent on the responses taken by humans to moderate the effects of Climate Change.

In this special issue, we intend to invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original researches and review articles on exploring climate change and agriculture. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

  • Crop response to changing climate
  • Livestock response to changing climate
  • Effects of climate change on soil and water
  • Climate change effects on agricultural ecosystem
  • Climate change effects on agricultural production
  • Climate change effects on agricultural economics
  • Adapting to climate change

Authors should read over the journal’s Authors’ Guidelines carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal at Paper Submission System.

Please kindly specify the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title. The research field “Special Issue – Climate Change and Agriculture” should be selected during your submission.
