Special Issue on Water Sanitation and Health

According to the World Health Organization, more than 3.4 million people die each year from water, sanitation, and hygiene-related causes. Nearly all deaths, 99 percent, occur in the developing world.  The lack of clean potable water causes countless gastro-intestinal sicknesses, which afflicts mostly children. Water and Sanitation Health works to combat this problem. The goal of this special issue is to provide a platform for scientists and academicians all over the world to promote, share, and discuss various new issues and developments in the area of water sanitation and health.

In this special issue, we invite front-line researchers and authors to submit original research and review articles that explore water sanitation and health. In this special issue, potential topics include, but are not limited to:

• Rural water supply and sanitation
• Waterborne diseases
• Water and health
• Water supply and sanitation monitoring
• Drinking-water and sanitation

Authors should read over the journal’s For Authors carefully before submission. Prospective authors should submit an electronic copy of their complete manuscript through the journal’s Paper Submission System.

Please kindly note that the “Special Issue” under your manuscript title should be specified and the research field “Special Issue - Water Sanitation and Health” should be selected during your submission.
